remember that it was a simple early 1970's toy . Very
good Quality / Price ratio |
| Obs. |
Politoys came on the market in the early 60's , but only in the
midle of the 60's they decide to try the 1/43 scale . Later the
firm's name was changed to Polistil , to avoid problems with
british Palitoys . The CD was available from 1971 , first as
Politoys and later as Polistil . I know 3 diffrent Politoys
boxes , 1 plastic and 2 cardboard with window . Polistil boxes I
know 2 , those I have . You could purchase a Polistil box with
a Politoys marked model . Later the base was changed to Polistil
name . Almost all variants have an unpainted metal base , but at
the end of production ? the base changed to plastic . In the Dr
Edward Force book the E21 is silver and in the Paolo Rampini ,
The Golden Book of Modelcars the color is yellow and silver .
Bellow you can see my 5 different CD . I can't confirm if the
rear window opens in any version . I saw in the internet two
other variants that I haven't in my collection one metallic
brown and one olive green with graphics . |
